It’s curtain up! - PRESS RELEASE.

From stagecraft to making gardens, taking inspiration from the landscape and literature, my theatrical roots transcend to my garden design process, crafting stories from nature, making every garden tell the story of its place and the garden users, its audience. With a cast of trees, plants and sculpture to reveal mystery and grandeur, with the finest details taken care of. As a theatre production, from the creativity to the craftsmanship. Each garden will be a showstopper for you and your guests well into the evening, when the space will be illuminated and come alive with characters.

A change of scene for garden designer, Oliver Roberts, who has blended their stage lighting experience at the National Theatre and beyond with designing gardens, where plants take centre stage.

Founded by Oliver Roberts, based in Sudbury, Suffolk, having worked a season with Peter Beales Roses last year and on their award-winning exhibitions at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival and trained in practical horticulture.

“Storytelling is in my nature.”

Oliver has now started a garden design practice dedicated to gardens steeped in stories, with roses, and to his passion for reclaimed garden statues, pots, and planters, bringing theatre, drama, and romance to professional rose garden-making. Using the fundamental principles of garden design to create focal points and planting design to stage year-round seasonal interest, he creates a showstopping display of roses with companion plants, as in the theatre, creating mood, texture and shape throughout the whole performance to tell the story. Oliver tells the story of your garden with plants taking centre stage.
